The Moraine

Sitting at the base of the Cascade Range within blocks of Commencement Bay lies a new 118,000 sf multifamily project in downtown Tacoma, WA. The Moraine’s contemporary mountain lodge aesthetic plays on the surrounding mountains and stone from nearby outdoor attractions such as Mount Rainier and the Tenino Quarry Pool. Ethos Development and Walsh Construction have targeted to recycle 70% of the construction waste steam, and feature onsite solar panels and a green roof to aid in sustainability efforts and protect the natural resources of this area.

20% of the 160-units will be offered at market-rate available to individuals earning no more than 80% of the area median income. Building amenities include a gym, media room, roof deck with communal kitchen, and a billiards room. Construction is expected to finish late 2023.
