Progress

Oct 12, 2016

We began our practice with a deep admiration of the depression era Works Progress Administration, and the legacy of altruistic projects that agency left behind. With a belief that art elevates society, especially in times of deep despair, the vast web of W.PA projects in the Pacific Northwest alone provide a continuing visual and functional resource for the communities they serve.

As we grow as a practice, we also look back. We have decided to reaffirm our commitment to providing buildings that elevate the daily lives of their occupants, and places that reaffirm the best aspects of our collective sense of community. With a small change to the name of our company, we look forward to a future of new opportunities with a sense of responsibility that strives to honor the past.
