Bill Neburka

Founding Principal

Bill received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and is a registered architect in the states of Oregon, New York, and Illinois. He has been an advocate for thoughtful design and urban density through both infill and adaptive re-use as a way of achieving true sustainability and social vitality. Through the projects of WPA, Bill has evolved of a process that drives to achieve conceptual clarity- a process that has been tested on a wide variety of project types and scales. Bill has a background of professional experience in Chicago, London, and New York on an extensive variety of project & program types, and a wide spectrum of public and private client groups His work has been recognized extensively both nationally and internationally. Bill has lectured widely and regularly serves as an adjunct professor at Portland State University and the University of Oregon. Bill is a co-founder of Project Cityscope, a non-profit platform with a focus on multi-discipline urban fabric and design.
