This project is comprised of 24 work.live units of varying types and sizes. Extra height ateliers located on the north face of the building are complemented by supporting rooms and studio units on the south side. The grid of ateliers stands behind the trees of a frontage park, allowing a figural breeze to sway the demising walls. The more traditional brick veneer with larger punched openings of the southern half echo the neighboring historical structures. What emerges is a reinterpretation of the colonnaded multi-family housing located within the site's context.
